Reenie Brown

In 1990, Reenie Brown, Publications Director of Accessories Magazine and vice president of Business Journals, founded the Fashion Accessories Benefit Ball. For 25 years, Brown was editor/publisher of the industry magazine Accessories, which she founded in 1975. Brown founded the first accessories trade show in the country in 1981, and the Accessories Council, with other industry members in 1993. Her personal awards include the Accessories Achievement Award, the Footwear and Accessories recognition award, and she was honored by the Women’s Crisis Center for “significant and outstanding contributions.”

Now retired, she devotes her time to her passions of Women’s issues, environmental concerns and animal welfare.

She lives in CT along with her daughter and grandson.
